Job summary

Bespoke Crew Recruitment is seeking a motivated 1st Officer for a 90m+ private motor yacht operating a Mediterranean single-season programme with winters in Spain. The role offers hands-on bridge duties balanced with deck leadership and long-term stability.

Key requirements include prior 2nd Officer experience on 70m+ yachts or larger stepping up, ISM and safety management proficiency, and an American passport or Green Card. Rotation is 12 weeks on / 6 weeks off with a discretionary bonus.

An excellent opportunity has become available for a motivated 1st Officer to join a beautifully maintained 90m+ private motor yacht with an outstanding reputation for crew longevity.

The yacht operates a relaxed single-season Mediterranean programme with winters spent in Spain, the programme offers a far more balanced lifestyle with downtime in the winter and owner use through the summer. There may be a possible return to the States in the future but currently just a single season role.

The boat benefits from long term family ownership and excellent crew longevity.

You will be working alongside a Captain, Chief Officer and a experienced deck team

The Role

This is a hands-on 1st officer position with a strong balance between bridge responsibilities and deck leadership.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead, mentor and manage the deck team on a daily basis.
• Be heavily involved in deck operations while maintaining bridge responsibilities.
• Oversee the vessel's full ISM management system.
• Assist with operational planning, safety management and compliance.
• Work closely with the rotational Captains to maintain the yacht's exceptionally high standards.

The Ideal Candidate

• 2nd Officer from a 70m+ yacht ready to step up and grow within the role
• Minimum OOW 3000GT OR USCG Equivalent

Package

• $7000 - 8,000 USD/month DOE
• 12 weeks on / 6 weeks off rotation = 3:1.5
