The Crew Network is seeking a professional Deckhand for a 38m Perini Navi private sailing yacht operating in Spain with wintering in Italy. The role requires longevity—minimum eight months on a single vessel over 35m—and willingness to transition between sailing and motor yacht backgrounds.

The position offers a private yacht environment with 5 crew, shared cabin with 1st Officer, a monthly salary of €4,500+ DOE, and 38 days annual leave. Medical insurance is included.

Mansioni

• Perform deck duties on a 38m Perini Navi private sailing yacht.
• Maintain ship cleanliness and safety on deck.
• Assist with mooring, lines, fenders, watchkeeping.
• Support officers and crew in daily yacht operations.

Location: Spain, will winter in Ventimiglia, Italy

Start Date: end of November

Contract: Permanent

Itinerary: MED-single season

Requirements:

• Valid Medical Fitness Certificate
• STCW
• YM Offshore
• Minimum eight months on one vessel over 35m

• Punctual, well-mannered, self motivated, responsible, and eager to progress within the yachting industry

Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and motivated Deckhand for a 38m Perini Navi private sailing yacht. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven longevity, with at least eight months continuous service on a single vessel. Sailing yacht experience is highly valued; however, candidates from motor yachts will be considered provided they are genuinely keen to transition to sailing yachts as a career move, not as a last resort. The Deckhand should be confident working independently, responsible, and proactive, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude. A desire to learn and progress up the yachting ladder is essential.

Total Crew: 5

Cabin: Shared with 1st Officer

Salary: €4,500+ DOE, per month

Leave: 38 days annual leave

Fleet: Part of a 5-yacht fleet

Male due to cabin arrangements.
