Job summary

DIANA CORELL YACHTS seeks an experienced ETO/AV and IT Officer for a 90m private motor yacht operating in the Mediterranean. The role involves supporting mobile site planning, procurement, installation, testing and maintenance of AV and IT systems onboard, while coordinating crew and contractors on technology initiatives.

You will manage AV/IT services, backups, documentation and provide 24-hour on-call support.

Qualifications

• STCW95 required.
• ENG1 required.
• B1/B2 required.
• Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for AV and IT systems onboard, including planning, installation, testing, documentation and maintenance.
• Lead crew and contractors on site related tasks and initiatives.
• Maintain system drawings and up-to-date documentation.

Job description

ROTATIONAL ETO REQUIRED FOR A 90M PRIVATE MOTOR YACHT

Start date: November 2026 – permanent contract

Itinerary: Mediterranean Sea

We are looking for an experienced ETO/AV and IT Officer for this 90m private MY running with a crew of 42;

Position summary

Provides technical support for the mobile site, assisting with planning, design, procurement, installation, testing, documentation and maintenance of AV and IT systems installed onboard.

Will also lead crew and contractors as required to complete site related tasks and initiatives.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Must be able to accept significant challenges and problems as part of regular day-to-day work situations.
• Ensures that AV systems are in a constant state of readiness, provides technical support, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Knowledge of operation IT Systems such as Cisco Switches, Windows Servers, NAS etc.
• Assists with software installation and system configuration as required.
• Provides project design input to operations based on technology consideration and owner’s preference, including systems analysis, design and specification.
• Leads contractors on designated technology projects as directed by Captain
• Maintains system drawings and documentation
• 24-hour on-call support as required.
• Ensure all backups are up to date.

Specific Skills

• Extensive working knowledge of commercial AV installations and operations.
• Strong working knowledge of IT support functions, including IT hardware/software deployment, PC troubleshooting, Server Management and networking trouble shooting.
• Working knowledge and experience with fibre optic transmission systems
• Working knowledge and experience in Broadband, RF modulated and Satellite systems, including dish and antenna control equipment
• Working knowledge and experience with building and operating audio & video playback systems
• Working knowledge of AC/DC power and grounding
• Working knowledge of test equipment including, spectrum analyser, RF signal level meters, oscilloscopes and digital voltmeters
• Familiarisation and basic working knowledge of all bridge electronics and communication equipment.
