A-Z Yachting Ltd seeks a Chief Officer to join a 45m+ private sailing yacht based in Palma, Spain. Start by 12 November. Winter Caribbean, summer Ireland/Scotland/Mediterranean. Permanent position with salary DOE. Must hold an OOW certificate, be fluent in English, and have visa/Seaman's Discharge Book as required. Non-EU candidates need Schengen visa.

Strong leadership and calm under pressure are essential to lead the deck team and manage bridge duties on long passages.

Chief Officer - 45m+ Private S/Y

We are currently seeking a Chief Officer to join a 45m+ Private Sailing Yacht.

Start: by the 12th of November.

Location: Palma, Spain

Programme: Caribbean for the winter and Ireland, Scotland and the Med for the summer.

Position Type: Permanent.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have OOW in hand.
• Strong sailor with experience on large sailing vessels.
• Motivated Chief that can lead the deck team by example.
• Organised, calm under pressure and proficient with general bridge duties.
• Non-EU passport holders should have a Schengen visa and Seamans Discharge Book in hand.
• B1/B2 Visa essential.
• Fluent in English
• Non-smoker
