Job summary

GANNI is seeking a Wholesale Area Manager to drive growth across the Nordics from our Copenhagen HQ. You’ll manage wholesale partnerships, elevate brand presence, and collaborate with the EMEA wholesale team to deliver strong commercial results.

You’ll focus on developing a Nordic market strategy, onboarding partners, and delivering local campaigns with cross-functional teams in marketing, VM, and merchandising. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of international wholesale experience in fashion/apparel.
• Strong understanding of Nordics market dynamics and consumer behavior.
• Solid grasp of retail math including sell-through, markup, and OTB planning.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate data into actions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Nordic business plan aligned with brand strategy.
• Prospect and onboard new Nordic wholesale partners.
• Collaborate with partners to meet weekly, monthly and annual trade expectations.
• Monitor sell-in and sell-out; maximize sell-through and profitability.
• Ensure partner activations align with GANNI brand guidelines and deliver consistent brand experience.

• Provide day-to-day support to wholesale partners as main contact with HQ.
• Support showroom operations in Paris, including OTB discussions and collection feedback.
• Stay updated on Nordic market trends and share insights internally.
• Coordinate with logistics and internal teams for timely delivery and payments.

GANNI is looking for a Wholesale Area Manager to join our global Wholesale team!

In this role, you will play a key part — together with your fellow Area Managers — in elevating GANNI’s brand presence across the Nordics market by nurturing strategic wholesale relationships and ensuring strong commercial performance.

The area manager will take over the whole Scandinavian market to contribute to regional growth and brand elevation in close collaboration with the broader EMEA Wholesale team.

This is a dynamic mid-level role that blends commercial execution, market insight, and operational excellence — and we’re looking for someone ready to contribute and grow within an ambitious team environment.

Your Mission & Responsibilities Ahead Of You

As Wholesale Area Manager, you will support and manage wholesale partnerships across the Nordics region, working closely with other Area Managers, the Head of WS EMEA and the Executive Wholesale & Franchises Director.

Your role will focus on driving sales performance, strengthening category growth, and ensuring seamless alignment between GANNI and our wholesale partners — all in line with our global wholesale strategy.

Responsibilities ahead of you:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan aligned with the brand strategy to drive growth and strengthen GANNI’s presence across the Nordics.
• Participate in prospecting and onboarding of new wholesale partners across the Nordics.
• Strategically collaborate with wholesale partners to meet weekly, monthly, and annual trade expectations.
• Monitor sell-in and sell-out performance, taking proactive measures to maximize sell-through, reorder rates, and profitability.
• Ensure all partners and activations are aligned with GANNI brand guidelines and deliver a consistent brand experience.
• Collaborate with marketing, VM, and merchandising teams to deliver local marketing initiatives, activations, and sales-driving campaigns.
• Provide exemplary day-to-day support to our wholesale partners as their main point of contact with GANNI HQ.
• Support showroom operations in Paris, including OTB discussions/negotiations and collection feedback.
• Stay up to date on the Nordics market trends, competitors, and opportunities and actively share insights internally.
• Coordinate with logistics and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and payment follow-up.

Must Have Requirements

We are looking for a commercially driven and collaborative professional who thrives in a fast-paced and international environment.

• 5-7 years of experience in international wholesale within fashion/apparel.
• Strong understanding of the Nordics market dynamics, consumer behavior, and wholesale operations.
• Solid understanding of retail math, including sell-through, mark-up, and OTB planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear actions.
• Experience building and maintaining client relationships.
• Experience supporting seasonal sales campaigns and showroom environments.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with wholesale systems such as JOOR is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Comfortable working across different markets and cultures within the Nordics.
• Flexibility to travel within the region as required.
• Fluent in Danish and English; additional Scandinavian languages are an advantage.
