Job summary

GEA Germany GmbH is seeking a Technical Writer to own documentation across our product portfolio, driving standardization, quality, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, product owners, and subject matter experts to ensure manuals meet customer needs, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Our technologies range from spray drying systems to powder handling equipment, offering a broad range of products and technical disciplines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical writing or end-user manuals, preferably in mechanical engineering or industrial settings.
• Solid understanding of relevant standards and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Ability to work with a broad range of engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and validate technical documentation including operation manuals and customer instructions.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and product owners across the lifecycle.
• Plan and coordinate documentation activities to support project deliverables.
• Coordinate translation activities with external partners.
• Drive continuous improvement of documentation processes, tools, templates, and standards.
• Help define new procedures and ways of working for technical documentation.
