Job summary
GEA Germany GmbH in Denmark is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Automation Execution department, a 38+ strong team delivering automation solutions for Spray Drying and Freeze Drying plants worldwide. You will execute projects from design to commissioning, review documents, develop and test software (Siemens PLC and WinCC), and support FATs and site acceptance.

Qualifications
- Degree in Automation, Instrumentation & Control or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with industrial automation systems and electrical engineering.
- Knowledge of ISA-88/ISA-101, IEC 62443, ATEX safety standards is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Define and review automation scopes during project execution.
- Participate in customer meetings and align automation requirements.
- Review P&IDs, equipment lists and process documentation.
- Develop network and control system architecture.
- Prepare functional design specs, alarms, interlocks and instrumentation specs.
- Develop and test automation software (Siemens PLC and WinCC).
- Review electrical designs and support FATs.
- Execute software FAT, commissioning, start-up and site acceptance.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation.
