Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Thermostatic Controls & Systems RD&E Digital at the Kolding on-site location. You will lead cross-functional initiatives turning ambitious ideas into secure, high-quality connected heating solutions for customers worldwide.

In this role you will translate priorities into clear plans, manage milestones, budgets and risks, and partner with external developers to ensure reliable, on-time delivery while advancing agile and hybrid

Qualifications

• Several years of project management experience in complex, multi-disciplinary product development.
• Experience leading projects that involve electronics, embedded software, apps, and/or cloud connected solutions.
• Strong leadership with external development partners.
• Proficient in predictive, hybrid, and agile methodologies with governance discipline.

The Impact You'll Make

As our new Senior Project Manager in Thermostatic Controls & Systems RD&E Digital, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, turning ambitious ideas into the secure, high-quality connected heating solutions our customers rely on. You will translate customer and business priorities into clear plans and aligned teams, ensuring reliable, on-time delivery.

You’ll create clarity from complexity, removing roadblocks to accelerate our digitalization and product innovation. This is a role with significant ownership and visibility, giving you direct exposure to senior leaders as you drive high-impact programs forward.

Your work will directly contribute to solutions that improve comfort and well-being, and energy efficiency for people worldwide helping customers optimize energy usage and reduce consumption without compromising comfort. You will be at the forefront of shaping our ways of working across electronics, embedded software, and the cloud, all within a supportive and collaborative culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Orchestrate the end-to-end delivery of connected heating solutions, from electronics and software to production, ensuring projects meet scope, quality, and time-to-market goals
• Translate customer and business needs into clear project plans with defined milestones, budgets, and risks, empowering your teams to deliver with predictability and confidence
• Lead and align cross-functional teams and external development partners, fostering a culture of transparency, ownership, and on-time delivery
• Strengthen project governance and reporting, providing concise updates and recommendations to enable timely and informed decisions by senior stakeholders
• Champion the use of agile and hybrid methodologies, continuously improving our processes to raise quality, reduce risk, and accelerate innovation

What We're Looking For

• Several years of project management experience in complex, multi-disciplinary product development and proven success leading projects that involve electronics, embedded software, apps, and/or cloud connected solutions
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and external development partners
• Proficiency with predictive, hybrid, and agile methodologies, combined with a solid discipline in risk and governance management
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills, with a decisive and ownership-driven mindset
