Job summary

EagleBurgmann is seeking a Proposal Specialist / Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in Denmark. You will review customer inquiries, coordinate quotations and proposals, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, quality, planning, welding, and production to craft technical and commercial solutions.

Fluent English and a technical background are essential for success. You will evaluate supplier quotes, prepare cost estimates, and ensure proposals meet company standards and customer

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical background.
• Experience in engineering, project management, technical sales, customer fulfilment, or related technical–commercial role.
• Experience with drafting software and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage customer enquiries from sales teams and customers.
• Coordinate the quotation and proposal process from enquiry to final offer.
• Define quotation scope and ensure the proposal workflow is initiated and completed effectively.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, quality, planning, welding, and production to develop technical and commercial solutions.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and outsourced products as part of the proposal process.
• Prepare, compile, and finalize technical and commercial cost estimates and proposals for internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.
• Create, review, and maintain technical drawings and documentation using drafting software to support quotations.
• Ensure timely delivery of quotations while maintaining high customer service levels.
• Support continuous improvement of proposal and sales support processes.
