Job summary

UNICEF Copenhagen is seeking a Technical Associate to support warehouse management and control systems within its Supply Division. The role emphasizes maintaining reliable material flow, diagnosing system faults, and coordinating with engineering and service providers to ensure high equipment availability.

You will contribute to testing, documentation, and readiness for Campus 4, while adhering to safety and regulatory standards in a dynamic humanitarian logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on experience with WMS/WCS and automation in a logistics environment.
• Experience diagnosing incidents across software, interfaces, and controls with coordination of recovery.
• Experience with external system integrators, automation providers or maintenance contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line functional and technical support for WMS, WCS, and related controls in warehouse operations.
• Monitor system status, alarms and material-flow exceptions; take corrective or escalated action.
• Coordinate system recovery and verify functionality before return to normal service.
• Support testing and implementation of changes in line with change-control and quality requirements.
• Maintain incident records, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
