UNFPA Supplies Partnership in Copenhagen seeks an Inventory Accounting and Control Assistant to support the SCMU. You will apply inventory control mechanisms and process ERP transactions under the Team Lead, helping ensure accurate day-to-day operations.

The role focuses on cost accounting reviews, policy compliance, reporting, governance support, and capacity strengthening. It's an 11-month consultancy with a Monday–Friday schedule, remote or on-site in Copenhagen, as agreed.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary education is required.
• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or related field is an asset.
• CIPS Level 3 and/or CILT-UK Level 3 would be an asset.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience; two years if degree held.
• Experience using ERP systems is required.
• Strong written and spoken presentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Strategically manage Inventory Accounting and Control functions.
• Perform cost accounting review and timely recording of inventory.
• Check compliance with inventory management policies in Country Offices.
• Prepare inventory management performance reports and propose improvements.
• Support governance, risk, compliance and reporting activities.
• Assist with capacity strengthening initiatives.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices in SCMU.
• Support donor relations, data collection and analysis for proposals.
• Collaborate with partners and attend SCMU/UNFPA meetings.
