Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Strategy, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; comfortable with PowerPoint, Excel, and AI tools.
• Structured and detail‑oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Curious and proactive with interest in strategy and M&A.

We are looking for a motivated and analytically strong Student Worker to support our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team within Danfoss Climate Solutions. Working closely with senior M&A professionals, you will contribute to market research, strategic analysis, acquisition screening, and project execution across a wide range of industries and technologies relevant to Danfoss' growth agenda.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate finance, strategy, and M&A while building valuable exposure to senior business leaders.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Research markets and technologies, tracking M&A activity, investments, and emerging trends that shape where Danfoss grows next.
• Build market maps, company profiles, and competitive analyses that senior leaders use to inform real decisions.
• Screen acquisition and partnership opportunities, helping identify where the strongest fit might be.
• Structure strategic, commercial, and financial information and run preliminary assessments of potential targets.
• Benchmark companies against peers and competitors, and help prepare management presentations and decision materials

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Strategy, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, confident with PowerPoint, Excel, and AI tools.
• Structured and detail‑oriented, comfortable managing multiple priorities at once.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Curious and proactive, with a genuine interest in strategy and M&A
  

Experience with financial analysis, market research, AI tools, or business intelligence platforms is a plus — but not required.
