Job summary

Danfoss A/S in Copenhagen is seeking a Student Worker to join our Global Public Affairs team. The position offers 15-20 hours per week in a flexible, on-site role helping promote climate and energy topics that support Danfoss's sustainability ambitions.

You will gain hands-on experience in public affairs, draft policy materials, monitor developments, and collaborate with experienced colleagues to advance climate-friendly agendas at national and global levels.

Qualifications

• Currently a student in political science, international business and politics or similar.
• At least one year or more left before graduation.
• Interest in climate and energy from a business perspective.
• Strong problem-solving, time and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English; Danish is a plus.
• Team player who can work independently and prioritize tasks.

Would you like to help promote solutions for climate-friendly construction machinery, decarbonized data centres, and the electrification of transport? And are you eager to learn how one of Denmark's largest industrial companies engages with policymakers at both national and global levels?

If so, you could be our next Student Worker in Global Public Affairs in our Copenhagen Office.

Danfoss Corporate Communications is looking for a Student Worker to join our Global Public Affairs team. You'll gain hands-on experience within public affairs, work alongside experienced colleagues, and contribute to important climate and energy-related agendas that support Danfoss's business and sustainability ambitions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the execution of strategic priorities through project management, research, and communication activities.
• Draft position papers, policy briefs, presentations, and op-eds on national and global climate and energy topics.
• Monitor political and legislative developments relevant to Danfoss and our stakeholders.
• Conduct research on climate, energy, industry, and public policy topics.
• Support the planning and execution of meetings, events, and other ad hoc activities.

What We're Looking For

Currently a student in political science, international business and politics or similar. We would prefer if you have at least a year or more left before you graduate. Besides your studies, we imaging you bring:

• An interest in climate and energy topics from a business perspective - previous experience is an asset.
• A problem-solver with a can-do attitude, organizational skills, and ability to manage time and projects.
• Curious mindset, with a strong motivation to explore new and technical topics.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills with an eye for detail. Danish skills are an advantage but not a prerequisite.
• A team player who can also work independently and excels at prioritizing different tasks and ensuring timely follow-up on tasks.
