Job summary

Danfoss Climate Solutions seeks a Technical Product & Portfolio Manager to bridge business strategy and technology. You will own digital offerings across Data Center Cooling, Digital Services, and Connected Infrastructure, guiding portfolio priorities and delivering measurable impact.

Based in a hybrid setup (Copenhagen or Hamburg), you will collaborate with R&D, engineering, and business leaders to shape opportunities from discovery to delivery, driving revenue growth and customer value.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial mindset to assess market potential and ROI.
• Experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, or Portfolio Manager delivering digital solutions.
• Fluent professional English required.

Responsibilities

• Drive business-led innovation by identifying high-potential challenges and revenue models.
• Shape the Digital Application Solutions portfolio, roadmaps, backlogs, dependencies, and decisions.
• Modernize and expand offerings by creating digital value propositions from existing Danfoss products.
• Act as the core connector between leadership, stakeholders, R&D, domain experts, and engineering.
• Accelerate delivery by moving from exploration to measurable results within weeks to months.
• Frame and structure complex concepts into opportunities, hypotheses, and actionable steps.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with confidence and transparency at executive levels.

Working within the Digital Application Solutions team, you will collaborate closely with business leaders, domain experts, R&D, and engineering teams to identify new opportunities, shape portfolio priorities, and bring concepts from exploration through implementation to deliver measurable business impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive Business-Led Innovation: Identify and assess high-potential business challenges and market opportunities, building business cases and revenue models.
• Shape the Digital Portfolio: Own and refine the Digital Application Solutions portfolio, roadmaps, backlogs, dependencies, and key decisions.

• Act as the Core Connector: Bridge leadership, business stakeholders, R&D, domain experts, and engineering teams to align goals and direction.
• Accelerate Delivery: Drive progress from exploration and validation to implementation, delivering measurable results in weeks to months.
• Frame & Structure Concepts: Turn complex ideas into clear opportunities, hypotheses, trade-offs, and actionable next steps.
• Lead Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with leadership on executive communication, representing the team with confidence and transparency.

What We're Looking For

• Strong Commercial Mindset: Assess market potential, customer value, and ROI while balancing commercial and technical perspectives.
• Product & Portfolio Experience: Experience as a Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, or Portfolio Manager leading digital solutions from discovery to delivery.
• Domain & Digital Familiarity: Experience or strong interest in digital services, IoT, cloud solutions, connected products, and industrial applications.
• Exceptional Structuring Skills: Bring clarity, focus, and direction to complex and ambiguous challenges.
• Proactive Communicator: Excel at stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and team representation.
• Outcome-Driven Execution: Deliver measurable business results by driving progress, prioritizing effectively, and managing trade-offs.
• Education & Language: Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar, with fluent professional English.
