Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy A/S is seeking a Student Worker in Mechanical Design Engineering in Brande (Denmark). You will support design and structural verification of wind turbine access components, using Siemens NX and Teamcenter for CAD models, and perform FEM analyses.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Support an improvement initiative focused on harmonizing access components across nacelle sub-modules and multiple wind turbine platforms.
• Collaborate with engineering specialists to develop 3D designs using Siemens NX and manage CAD models in Teamcenter.
• Perform structural calculations and verification using analytical methods and numerical simulations (FEM).
• Contribute to the development of Design Guidelines and Design Basis documentation for access components.
• Assist in prototype and test activities in collaboration with the R&D workshop, ensuring efficient engineering solutions.

What You Bring

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A keen interest in mechanical design, structural analysis, and product development.
• Proactive, structured, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with CAD and FEM tools is an advantage; familiarity with Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and ANSYS is beneficial but not mandatory.
