In an ever-changing, fast paced world, we owe it to ourselves and our future generations to live life responsibly. At ROCKWOOL, we work relentlessly to enrich modern living through our innovative stone wool solutions. Join us and make a difference!

Your future team:

You will join ROCKWOOL Technical Insulation (RTI), a global subsidiary of the ROCKWOOL Group. You will become part of a highly experienced and dynamic Product Management team responsible for our technical insulation product portfolios for energy, process, marine, and offshore sectors.

You will have direct touchpoints across the organization, offering you a broad perspective from innovation and product development, to sales, marketing, communication, supply chain and senior management.

We’re an ambitious team that values trust and empowerment. We want to grow together – grow our business and develop as people. We want to leverage each other’s skills and strengths as well as the technological advancement to achieve even greater efficiency and innovation.

Says Asad Navid, Head of Product management

What you will be doing:

As our Student Assistant, you will support the Product Management team in market intelligence, business analytics, and Product Information Management (PIM). You’ll analyse market trends, manage product data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders.

Your main tasks will include:
  • Monitoring competitive landscape, regulatory trends, and market dynamics relevant for our products and markets as part of comprehensive market intelligence.
  • Supporting business analyses (e.g. product performance, industry trends, and competitor strategy) and translating data into clear, actionable insights for product development and go-to-market decisions.
  • Contributing to product development processes by maintaining and improving our Product Information Management (PIM) systems, including product content, technical documentation, data quality, and pricing accuracy.
  • Managing and enriching product data within PIM tools to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy across all channels and markets.
  • Preparing presentations, competitive overviews, dashboards and analytical reports for internal stakeholders at various levels.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across functions and countries, contributing a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills.
What you bring:

You are in the later part of your bachelor’s degree or at the beginning of a master’s degree in business analytics, and engineering with focus on product and business and you have at least 1.5 years left of your studies.

You have demonstrated experience with or strong motivation to develop expertise in Product Information Management (PIM) systems and/or product data management.

You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with data, drawing conclusions, and presenting your findings in a clear, compelling way.

You have a pronounced can-do attitude and are proactive, curious and self-driven. You take responsibility and can work independently; once the task and direction are clear, you can navigate internal and external stakeholders to get things done.

You communicate clearly and confidently in English, both written and spoken. You are structured and detail-oriented, with excellent attention to data quality and accuracy. You enjoy working with others and are not afraid to ask questions or reach out to new stakeholders.

You have basic proficiency with Excel, data visualization tools, or BI platforms.

What we offer:

You will join an international, dynamic environment where you can apply what you learn in your studies to real business challenges. You will gain hands‑on experience with product management, market insights, and digital assets in a global organisation.

You can expect:
  • A student role of approx. 15–20 hours per week with flexibility around exams.
  • Close collaboration with experienced colleagues who are ready to spar and help you develop.
  • Insight into how we work with product management, commercial decision‑making and digital tools in practice.
