Job summary

Ørsted is seeking a high-impact strategist to drive critical strategic projects across the organisation. You will work with senior leaders to shape decisions that steer the company’s growth and the green energy transition.

In this in-house strategy role, you’ll combine rigorous analysis with stakeholder engagement, develop executive-ready recommendations, and help translate insights into action across business units. Experience from top-tier consulting or strategy functions is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience from a top-tier management consulting firm, strategy function, infrastructure investing, investment banking, or similar analytical environment.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities; ability to turn complex information into actionable insights.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication of complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Ability to build relationships and work with stakeholders across functions and levels.
• Demonstrated curiosity, personal drive, and a structured approach to solving challenging business problems.
• Degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Driving complex strategic projects from scoping through recommendations and implementation.

You'll be part of the Strategic Projects team where you, together with your colleagues, will work as an in-house consulting team delivering strategic projects across Ørsted. The team partners with senior stakeholders across business units and functions to solve complex challenges, identify opportunities, and support the execution of strategic priorities. You'll work across a broad range of topics, providing insights and recommendations that shape important decisions for the organisation. As a team, we combine analytical excellence with a collaborative mindset, supporting each other to create meaningful impact while developing our own capabilities.

You'll play an important role in:

• supporting and driving complex strategic projects from scoping through recommendation and implementation.

To succeed in the role, you:

• have experience from a top-tier management consulting firm, strategy function, infrastructure investing, investment banking, or a similarly analytical environment.
• have strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to turn complex information into actionable insights.
• communicate complex topics clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• are skilled at building relationships and working effectively with stakeholders across different functions and organisational levels.
• demonstrate curiosity, personal drive, and a structured approach to solving challenging business problems.
• hold a degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Position salary range:
For this position, the expected base pay range is kr63,200.00- kr94,800.00 for the advertised location. The offered base salary will be determined within this range based on relevant skills, experience, and expected role fulfilment within the stated pay range to ensure a fair and competitive offer. Where applicable, you may also be eligible for variable payment and a comprehensive benefits package.
