Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Around 10 years of experience as a subject matter expert in verification engineering, software testing, or a similar role.
• Proven experience managing complex test projects or processes and mentoring other professionals.
• Expertise in test automation, scripting, and testing complex software and hardware systems.
• Technical expertise in test automation, Python programming, scripting, Linux environments, simulations, and firmware development.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex technical requirements and system designs for power and grid management solutions to define comprehensive verification strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust test plans, test cases, and test procedures for new and existing product features.
• Act as a subject matter expert, managing large-scale test projects and processes with limited oversight.
• Coach, review, and delegate test development work to lower-level professionals, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Execute advanced manual and automated tests to validate functional requirements, benchmark system performance, and ensure product reliability.
• Develop, implement, and maintain sophisticated test automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Tcl, or other relevant languages.
• Establish and manage complex test environments, including system simulations and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline to enhance development workflow efficiency and feedback cycles.
• Identify, document, and meticulously track software defects and system anomalies through to resolution using workflow management tools.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis for difficult and complex problems, collaborating with development teams to find effective solutions.
• Generate detailed test summary reports and quality metrics to communicate findings and system readiness to stakeholders.
