Job summary

Swedium Global is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Automation Engineer to support migration activities for EPC60 systems, focusing on B&R to Siemens transitions. This onsite Denmark role leads PLC/HMI software migration and ensures functional equivalence post migration.

You will analyze architectures, perform feasibility studies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust automation solutions using B&R Automation Studio and Siemens TIA Portal.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Automation/PLC software engineering.
• Strong expertise with B&R Automation Studio and Siemens TIA Portal.
• Hands-on PLC programming with Structured Text, Ladder Logic or FBD.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing B&R software and architecture.
• Migrate PLC software from B&R to Siemens TIA Portal.
• Convert control logic and language structures.
• Support service requests and troubleshooting during migration.
• Perform feasibility studies and migration assessments.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Automation Engineer with strong expertise in B&R and Siemens PLC environments to support migration activities for EPC60 systems.

The role involves migration of existing B&R software to Siemens platforms, handling ongoing service requests, performing feasibility studies, and supporting software language conversion activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing B&R Automation software and architecture
• Migrate PLC software from B&R to Siemens TIA Portal
• Convert existing control logic and software language structures
• Support ongoing service requests and troubleshooting activities
