Job summary

European Energy is seeking a Transaction Manager or Deputy Transaction Manager to join our M&A and Asset Financing team at the Søborg HQ, near Copenhagen. You will own deal workstreams from origination to closing, across wind, solar, and energy storage projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, model financials, manage vendor and investor communications, and drive due diligence and negotiations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in M&A, corporate finance, or investment management.
• Master’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or equivalent.
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel (DCF/PF).
• Excellent project management, presentation and communication abilities.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• A proactive, commercially minded personality with an interest in energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of transactions from origination to closing.
• Lead external divestment outreach and investor talks.
• Build and maintain financial models for wind, solar, Power-to-X, and storage projects.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage data rooms.
• Prepare information memoranda and investor presentations.
• Collaborate with legal, tax, and project teams to align transaction phases.
