Job summary

European Energy seeks a Transaction Manager or Deputy Transaction Manager to join our M&A and Asset Financing team at our Søborg headquarters. You will lead live transactions from origination to closing, with ownership growing as you advance, including investor outreach and due diligence across wind, solar, and Power-to-X assets.

Role requires 5+ years in M&A/corporate finance, strong financial modelling and Excel skills (DCF/PF), and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience for Deputy Transaction Manager; 5+ years for Transaction Manager, preferably in M&A, corporate finance or investment management
• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience
• Strong financial modelling skills and advanced Excel, especially DCF/PF models
• Strong PM, presentation and communication skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Fluency in English, oral and written; additional languages are a plus
• Proactive, commercially minded with genuine interest in energy transition and financial markets

Responsibilities

• Take active ownership of transactions from origination to closing
• Run external divestment outreach and investor talks
• Prepare and maintain financial models for wind, solar, Power-to-X, and battery storage projects
• Structure and manage Virtual Data Rooms and coordinate due diligence
• Prepare information memoranda and investor presentations; develop M&A assumptions and project business cases
• Collaborate with legal, tax, and project teams to align across transaction phases
• Maintain dialogue with investors, banks and stakeholders
• Drive SPA and transaction document negotiations and investor management at TM level
