Job summary

European Energy A/S is seeking a Senior Associate, Project Finance, in Copenhagen to lead financial modelling on live renewables transactions across Europe. You will build complex models, support data-room activities, and assist in negotiations and documentation, reporting to the Global Head of Project and Asset Finance.

The role offers significant responsibility, exposure to high-value deals, and opportunities for professional growth within a growing renewable energy company.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience as a financial analyst, ideally in project finance, infrastructure, leveraged finance, or related field.
• Proficient in financial modelling and capable of building and auditing project finance models.
• Strong Excel and quantitative skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build, tailor, and maintain the financial model for each live transaction, including scenarios and sensitivities.
• Mentor junior associates on financial modelling responsibilities.
• Maintain the transaction data room and coordinate Q&A with lenders and advisors.
• Assist in commercial negotiations and documentation review through the deal lifecycle.
