Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager for the Hesselø offshore wind project in Denmark. You’ll design engagement strategies, build trusted relationships with communities, and ensure transparent communication throughout development and delivery.

Based in Copenhagen or Kolding, you’ll work with regulatory, environmental and development teams to maximise local value creation while aligning with Denmark’s fossil-free energy goals.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Communications, Community Development, Psychology, International Development, Political Science, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience in stakeholder engagement, community relations, communications or public consultation within major infrastructure, renewable energy or sustainable development projects.
• Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement across project development, permitting, construction or operational phases.

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder engagement and consultation activities across the project lifecycle, including local communities and authorities.
• Develop engagement plans, maintain dialogue, capture feedback, and reflect insights in decision-making.
• Represent Vattenfall at forums and events, working with cross-functional teams to align efforts.
