Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an Offshore Foundation Installation Engineer to deliver key engineering assignments for offshore wind projects. You will support the Installation Manager in package delivery and lead development tasks to mitigate risks while ensuring HSE leadership in installation methodologies.

The role requires a relevant engineering degree, 3+ years in offshore foundation installation, strong stakeholder management, and a project management mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of project engineering experience in offshore foundation installation.
• Good knowledge of offshore installation equipment and systems.
• Strong project management mindset.
• Ability to balance technical, commercial and consenting imperatives.
• Good knowledge of the wind energy market.
• Experience in installation of offshore transmission systems is an asset.
• Good stakeholder management and intercultural skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to work across borders.
• Enthusiastic about digitalization and implementing opportunities in wind.

Responsibilities

• Provide offshore turbine foundation installation engineering expertise to offshore wind projects.
• Support the Installation Manager in delivering the Foundation Installation package across the BU Offshore portfolio.
• Handle project-specific engineering tasks during development to mitigate risks.
• Provide HSE leadership in offshore cable installation methodologies.
• Contribute to the growth of the Transportation & Installation Engineering team by taking ownership of development work packages.
• Develop competencies in project management and offshore installation methodologies.
