Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking a Foundation Installation Engineer to deliver offshore turbine foundation installations across northern Europe. You will join the Project Execution department within Project Delivery & Engineering, contributing to safe, efficient, and technically excellent installation campaigns.

The role emphasizes leadership in HSE, project management, and development of installation methodologies, with locations in Hamburg, Kolding or Amsterdam and a focus on cross-border teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree in an Engineering discipline
• Minimum of 10 years project engineering experience in offshore foundation installation

Responsibilities

• Provide offshore turbine foundation installation engineering expertise to Offshore Wind development projects to deliver key engineering assignments
• Be accountable for individual projects in delivery phases to support the Installation Manager in overall Foundation Installation package delivery across the BU Offshore portfolio
• Responsible for project-specific engineering tasks within the development phase to understand and mitigate project-specific engineering risks
• Support Operations and Maintenance in providing engineering skills to major operational wind farm replacement/maintenance campaigns
• Provide HSE leadership in the design and specification of offshore cable installation methodologies
• Contribute to the structural growth of the Transportation & Installation Engineering team by taking ownership in development work packages
• Play a key role in developing project engineering competences in our Technical Authority community
• Develop your own competences both in project management as well as offshore installation methodologies
