Job summary

LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to deliver high-quality software tools for developers and LEGO experiences. You’ll work in the Play Software department, crafting scalable solutions with C#/.NET, AvaloniaUI and Python.

You’ll collaborate across teams to automate pipelines, improve tooling, and participate in architectural decisions while mentoring junior engineers in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with C and C++ codebases and navigating large projects.
• Experience with C#/.NET for software development and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in Python for automation tasks and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular, testable software solutions for interactive LEGO products using C# .NET, AvaloniaUI and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build developer-focused tools.
• Ensure high quality via code reviews, automated tests, and CI with emphasis on unit testing.
• Automate pipelines and toolchains to improve developer efficiency.
• Engage in architectural discussions to drive innovation and technical excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote an agile mindset.
