LEGO Group is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Play Software department to deliver high‑quality software that enables developers to build interactive LEGO experiences. You will work with C#, .NET, AvaloniaUI and Python, ensure robust CI/CD, and mentor junior engineers.

This role embraces the ethos of ownership: You build it, you run it, you own it, and contribute to architectural decisions across toolchains and cloud integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with C, C++ and ability to navigate codebases.
• Proficiency in C# .NET with performance and scalability optimization.
• Ability to contribute to architectural discussions and drive innovations.
• Experience with Git and a strong understanding of security and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular, testable software using C#, .NET, AvaloniaUI and Python.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to build tools for developers of LEGO experiences.
• Ensure high software quality via code reviews, automated tests and CI with emphasis on unit testing.
