Job summary

The LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to deliver high-quality software tools for interactive LEGO experiences. You will work with C#, .NET, C/C++, AvaloniaUI, and Python to empower developers and run robust pipelines.

You will mentor junior engineers, engage in architectural discussions, and own the software from development to operation. The role supports a hybrid work policy with office days and strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with C and C++ to navigate codebases.
• Experience with C# .NET and performance optimization.
• Engage in architectural discussions to drive innovation.
• Experience with Git and Git actions, and security/data privacy.
• Automating development pipelines with Docker knowledge.
• Comfortable with cloud endpoints and backend integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modular, testable software for LEGO products using C#, AvaloniaUI, and Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support developers and improve UX.
• Ensure high quality via code reviews, tests, and CI with strong unit testing.
• Automate pipelines and toolchains to boost efficiency and delivery speed.
• Participate in architectural discussions to drive tech excellence.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote an agile mindset.
• Own the software you build and run it responsibly.
