Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Play Software department. You will develop and maintain software using C# .NET, AvaloniaUI, and Python to empower developers building interactive LEGO experiences.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, drive automation of pipelines, and participate in architectural discussions to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions. Mentoring junior engineers and upholding an agile mindset are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

Proven experience in C# .NET development for desktop or cross‑platform apps.
Experience with Python scripting and automation.
Ability to participate in architectural discussions and drive technical excellence.
Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
Mentor junior engineers and work in an Agile environment.
Familiarity with Docker and cloud endpoint integration.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modular software using C# .NET, AvaloniaUI, and Python for LEGO products.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create tools for developers.
Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI.
Support automation of pipelines and toolchains to improve developer efficiency.
