Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund, Denmark, seeks a Senior Project Manager in Electronic Process Engineering Europe to connect LEGO element design with manufacturable processes across EMS partners worldwide.

You will balance process engineering with project leadership, drive equipment development with external partners, and ensure launches meet safety and quality standards while collaborating across design, sourcing and manufacturing. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar with a minimum of 5 years of relevant EMS experience.
• Experience with novelty electronic products, preferably with a background in consumer, medical devices, automotive, audio, or similar fields.
• Able to manage projects from concept to production and plan risks.
• Strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Professional level English for cross-cultural communication.
• Knowledge of process engineering tools: DFx, FMEA, Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Design and Manufacturing Insight: understand design elements to determine efficient manufacturing processes for consumer electronics.
• Process Engineering and Project Management: balance 50/50 focus to ensure timely delivery of Smartplay elements.
• Equipment Development: collaborate with third-party partners on equipment needs and delivery.
• Project Leadership: lead equipment platform development projects using the Project Execution Model.
• Collaboration and Execution: work with specialists and suppliers to deliver scalable solutions with clear governance.
• Project Handover and Standards: ensure strong anchoring during handover to line organization.
• Continuous Improvement: conduct after-action reviews and apply lean practices where relevant.
