Qualifications

• PhD in Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology, or related discipline.
• 7+ years in microbial strain engineering with corporate pharma/industrial bioprocess experience.
• Strong background in production strain tech, recombinant protein expression, or metabolite production.
• Proven track record in developing microbial strains for bioprocesses.
• Exceptional project management, team mentorship and development.
• Excellent analytical and written/spoken communication; able to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor high-performing R&D teams to drive project success.
• Develop and implement research strategies to meet milestones.
• Oversee client projects to ensure timely progress and impactful results.
• Collaborate with scientists and stakeholders at all levels to deliver timelines and deliverables.
