• 7+ years in microbial strain engineering with corporate pharma/industrial bioprocess experience.
• Strong background in production strain tech, recombinant protein expression, or metabolite production.
• Proven track record in developing microbial strains for bioprocesses.
• Exceptional project management, team mentorship and development.
• Excellent analytical and written/spoken communication; able to present to stakeholders.

• Industry Experience:7+ years in microbial strain engineering, withcorporateexpertise in pharmaceutical or industrial bioprocesses.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong background in production strain technology, recombinant protein expression, or metabolite production.
• Proven track-record in developing microbial strains for bioprocesses.
• Leadership:Exceptional project management skills, including team mentorship and development.
• Analyticaland Communication:Ability to solve complex problems and communicateeffectivelyincl. inwritten and oral presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienceleadingagile R&D teams.
• Technical strain engineering experience inBacillus, E. coli, Corynebacteriumor yeasts (Pichia, S. cerevisiaeetc)
• Familiarity with corporate bioprocess developmentworkflows.
• Knowledge of Design of Experiments (DoE), small-scale automation, and fermentation science.
• Background in pharmaceutical GMP environments.
• Relevant experience from e.g. a CDMO or CRO on delivering projects with clients or collaboration partners
