Job summary

Enduro Genetics seeks a research scientist to advance microbial strain engineering within a fast-growing biotech environment in the København area. You will drive cloning, transformation, cultivation assays, and rigorous data documentation while collaborating with a skilled team to deliver client-ready results.

Ideal candidates hold an MSc or PhD in synthetic biology or molecular biology with 2+ years in industry, and familiarity with production strains, DoE, and GMP workflows.

Qualifications

MSc or PhD in Synthetic Biology, Molecular Biology or related discipline.
2+ years in microbial strain engineering.
Experience with production strain technology, recombinant protein expression, or metabolite production.
Experience with DNA cloning, strain transformation, cultivation and assaying.
Exceptional teamwork and lab documentation.

Responsibilities

Drive forward strain engineering activities (cloning, transformation of bacteria and yeasts)
Develop, implement and execute high-performance strain cultivation assays
Document lab work, analyze data
Collaborate with fellow scientists to deliver on project timelines and deliverables
