Job summary

Ørsted Bioenergy seeks a Senior OT Security Officer to strengthen security, resilience, and compliance across OT, IT, engineering, and operations. You will translate cyber risk into clear business and safety impact while guiding cross-site security initiatives.

You’ll lead governance, risk assessments, and secure architecture for ICS/SCADA and IIoT in a multi-site environment, collaborating with vendors and operations to balance safety and availability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Automation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with industrial control systems and 24/7 production environments.
• Familiarity with IT networks (Purdue model, firewalls, data diodes).
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and the Danish energy sector legislation.
• Fluency in Danish and English.
• Willingness to travel within Denmark.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of OT security governance, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess, manage, and reduce cyber risk across OT environments including ICS/SCADA/IIoT.
• Define and support secure OT architecture including segmentation, secure remote access, and logging.
• Conduct OT security risk assessments, gap analyses, and maturity reviews aligned with frameworks and legislation.
• Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, IT, and vendors to ensure practical, risk-based controls.
• Drive OT security awareness and training for technical teams.
