Job summary

Ørsted Bioenergy is seeking a Senior OT Security Officer to strengthen security across OT, IT, engineering, and operations. You will translate cyber risk into business, safety, and operational requirements, supporting multi-site, safety-critical environments.

You will lead governance, risk management, and secure architecture while coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to maintain robust protection of vital energy facilities.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Automation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in operating in ICs systems and 24/7 production environments.
• Familiarity with IT networks, Purdue model, firewalls, data diodes, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT security governance, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess, manage, and reduce cyber risk across OT environments (ICS, SCADA, PLCs, IIoT).
• Define secure OT architecture: network segmentation, secure remote access, asset visibility, access control, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management.
• Conduct OT security risk assessments, gap analyses, and maturity reviews per IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and Danish legislation.
• Partner with operations, engineering, maintenance, IT, and vendors to ensure practical, risk-based security controls.
• Drive OT security awareness and training for technical and operations teams.
