Job summary

Ørsted Bioenergy is seeking a Senior OT Security Officer to strengthen security, resilience, and compliance across OT, IT, engineering, and operations. You will translate cyber risk into business impact, lead governance, and work with multi-site teams to safeguard critical powerplant systems while enabling safe, reliable operations.

You will collaborate across functions in Denmark, drive risk-based security controls, and ensure compliance with IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and national energy

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Automation, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with ICS/OT environments and 24/7 production settings.
• Familiar with IT networks like Purdue model, firewalls, data diodes.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and Lov om styrket Beredskab i Energisektoren.
• Fluency in Danish and English, strong teamwork, and willingness to travel within Denmark.

Responsibilities

• Lead OT security governance, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Assess and reduce cyber risk across OT environments (ICS/SCADA/IIoT).
• Define secure OT architectures: segmentation, access control, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management.
• Perform OT security risk assessments, gap analyses, and maturity reviews per frameworks and legislation.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, IT, and vendors to ensure practical security controls.
• Drive OT security awareness and training for technical and operational teams.
