Novo Nordisk Engineering is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the newly established Pharma Automation department. The role focuses on defining strategic direction and ensuring successful execution of key objectives while building strong partnerships across Denmark and India.

You will shape the organisation's future through digital transformation initiatives and adoption of emerging technologies, contributing to growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience with 5+ years managing managers and large teams.
• At least 5 years in pharma, biotech, or life sciences with complex engineering projects.
• Strong expertise in pharma automation technologies (DCS, PLC, IT/OT).

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and align department goals with overall strategy.
• Manage a 15–25 person automation engineering team serving pharma API clients.
• Drive competence development and collaboration across Denmark and India.
• Lead strategic initiatives on new ways of working and digital transformation.
• Manage stakeholder communication with customer representatives.
