Job summary

NNE in Virum, Denmark is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Distributed Control Systems (DCS) department, delivering automation engineering services to pharma API production.

You will define strategic direction, manage 15–25 engineers across Denmark and India, and drive digital transformation and adoption of emerging technologies. The role is primarily on-site with five days a week in the office, offering growth within NNE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years managing managers and leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
• At least 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences sector, combined with a strong background in complex engineering projects.
• Strong industry network and deep expertise in pharma automation technologies, e.g. DCS, PLC, and IT/OT solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to define strategic direction, translate strategy into execution, and deliver sustainable business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Providing visionary leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, and coordinating with other departments to enable successful project execution.
• Managing 15–25 employees who provide automation engineering services to customers in the pharmaceutical API production sector.
• Driving competence development within your department, in close collaboration with the management team across Denmark and India.
• Actively participating in projects to remain up to date on technical advancements and ensure alignment with the NNE way of working.
• Managing stakeholder communication and collaboration with customer representatives.
