Job summary

Novo Nordisk Engineering seeks a Senior Project Manager within Process Automation to lead large pharmaceutical projects in Kalundborg. You will drive project strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery.

The role focuses on DCS 800xA and ECS/PLC systems, with end-to-end lifecycle activities from design to FAT, SAT, and UAT, and on-site commissioning. A strong PM background and GMP experience are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level technical background.
6–10 years of experience in DCS and ECS/PLC Process Automation projects, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with GMP project execution; knowledge of S88 and S95.
Experience collaborating with mechanical/process design and end users; on-site commissioning (FAT/SAT/UAT).
PM certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 preferred.

Responsibilities

Execute projects within your area in close collaboration with your team, identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures.
Focus on overall project planning, ensuring delivery quality, and planning the necessary resources to maintain schedule and cost targets.
Estimate costs and plan budgets in collaboration with engineers and specialists.
Manage project scope and ensure that changes are analysed and agreed upon with stakeholders.
