Job summary

CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Engineer III for the LogScale Search team in Aarhus. You will deliver scalable features and improve functionality while working with a distributed engineering group focused on automation, detection, and response use cases.

You will own backend development in Scala, maintain high availability during increasing ingest and query loads, and contribute to design reviews and internal documentation across global teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with distributed systems and scaling complex services.
• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term product goals.
• Proven technical leadership across products/services.
• Fluency in functional and object-oriented programming; quick to pick up new languages.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of engineers, supporting each other with code reviews and design reviews.
• Lead by example in customer focus and operational excellence; monitor features after release.
• Scope, design, and develop new features; deliver solutions to open-ended problems.
• Develop the LogScale backend in Scala and scale ingest/query capacity with high availability.
• Collaborate across teams on solutions, docs, and technical talks.
