Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Engineer III for the LogScale team in Aarhus. You will develop the backend in Scala, extend LogScale to sustain large ingest and query loads, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes autonomy, quality, and operational excellence while working in a hybrid setup with 2–3 days on-site. You will join a global team and contribute to scalable architecture, production monitoring, and customer-focused problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development and balancing short-term delivery with long-term goals.
• Proven track record leading technical efforts across teams and regions.
• Fluency in functional and object-oriented programming; ability to learn new languages quickly.
• Operational excellence when running services spanning components and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Develop the LogScale backend in Scala and scale the product to higher ingest and query loads.

• Monitor features in production with dashboards and ensure high availability.
