Job summary

Ramboll Energy in Denmark is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer to deliver Power Systems and Grid Connection projects across Datacenters, BESS & Solar PV, industrial plants, and Power-to-X. You will guide and lead smaller to mid-size engineering teams, act as the client’s technical advisor, and ensure robust, value-driven solutions.

Role combines hands-on technical leadership with client relationship management and advisory excellence, within a culture that values sustainability and long-term

Qualifications

• B.Sc./B.Eng. Electrical Engineering or MSc in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience within Power Systems, High voltage and Grid connections.
• Experience managing projects and smaller/mid-size teams.
• Strong commercial mindset and bilingual communication (Danish/English).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high voltage systems per standards and regulations.
• Handle grid connections and grid compliance per grid codes for clients.
• Lead the technical scope and smaller/mid-size engineering teams.
• Prepare technical specifications for transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing and protection.
• Support procurement with technical clarifications during projects.
• Participate in factory and site acceptance testing and act as Owners Engineer.
