Job summary

Ramboll Group in Denmark seeks a Senior Lead Engineer to deliver power systems and grid connection projects for datacenters, BESS, solar PV, and industrial facilities. You will lead technical scope, coordinate small to mid-size teams, and act as the client’s technical advisor, ensuring robust, market-aligned solutions.

From day one, you’ll guide project delivery, support procurement, contribute to sales, and mentor engineers while upholding Ramboll’s professional standards and long-term value.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./B.Eng. Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Proven experience within Power Systems, High voltage and Grid connections.
• Experience managing projects and smaller/mid-size engineering teams.
• Commercial mindset and approach.
• Strong Danish and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high voltage systems according to relevant standards and regulations.
• Handle grid connections and grid compliance according to relevant grid codes on behalf of the client.
• Lead the technical scope including leading smaller/mid-size engineering teams.
• Prepare technical specifications for power transformers, switchgear, cables, earthing and lightning protection.
• Provide technical input and support procurement processes, including handling technical clarifications during project execution.
• Participate in factory acceptance testing and site acceptance testing.
• Acting as the client’s technical advisor and take on the role as Owners Engineer.
• Participate in sales and proposal work.
