Job summary

Ramboll Denmark is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer for Power Systems to lead HV design, grid connections, and advisory services for diverse projects across data centers, BESS, solar, and industrial facilities. You will guide teams, ensure compliance with grid codes, and act as a client’s technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on power systems.
• Extensive experience in power systems, HV grid connections, and related standards.
• Proven track record leading projects and coordinating small-to-mid-size engineering teams.
• Strong Danish and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Commercial mindset with ability to advise clients and support sales/proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of high voltage systems according to relevant standards.
• Manage grid connections and grid compliance for client projects.
• Coordinate and lead smaller to mid-size engineering teams.
• Prepare technical specifications for power transformers, switchgear, cables and protection.
• Act as client’s technical advisor and Owners Engineer on projects.
