Novo Nordisk A/S invites a Sr Accounting & Digitalisation Partner to shape how accounting operates across BA West. You will standardise, automate and simplify processes, guiding colleagues in Accounting, Finance and IT to implement improvements.

You will influence across nine affiliates in eleven countries with a focus on quality, compliance and user experience. You bring a master’s degree and 8–10 years in finance or consulting, with a strong accounting background and a track record of driving

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in business, finance, economics or a similar field.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience from finance, consulting or a related environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and needs of internal stakeholders.
• Experience driving process improvement, standardisation or digitalisation initiatives.
• Project experience and ability to work across functions.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Structured, proactive approach to turn business needs into improvements.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to challenge conventional ways.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the link between central initiatives, accounting expertise and day-to-day business needs.
• Identify opportunities to digitalise, automate and simplify accounting processes and propose improvements.
• Drive standardisation and alignment of processes, tools and ways of working across Business Area West.
• Support the implementation of central initiatives as a strategic partner and lead projects leveraging accounting and process expertise.
• Provide process and accounting sparring to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Take ownership, governance and continuous development of your assigned area.
• Act as the link between Accounting Manager, Controller and our Global Shared Service centre in Bangalore.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Accounting, Finance, IT and the wider business.
