Novo Nordisk A/S in Copenhagen seeks an Accounting Controller to ensure accurate month-end close and drive standardisation across multiple countries. You will oversee key affiliate finance processes, support Accounting Managers, and deliver reliable financial information for Senior leadership.

You will join the Accounting & Taxation BA West CoE, collaborating with global affiliates and a Bangalore SSC. The role combines day-to-day accounting with improvement projects and cross-country

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, finance, economics or a similar field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, consulting or a related environment, including accounting, financial reporting or finance operations.
• Solid understanding of month-end close activities and core finance processes (P2P, R2R and/or O2C).
• SAP experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to carry out structured ad hoc analyses.
• Experience working with stakeholders across countries or business areas.
• Proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage routine activities while contributing to projects and improvements.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine accounting and reporting tasks for multiple countries during month-end close.
• Oversee affiliate finance processes across P2P, R2R and O2C; monitor performance and address issues.
• Support Accounting Managers with ad hoc analyses, reporting and general accounting questions.
• Guide and support affiliates and relevant Finance stakeholders.
• Participate in and drive projects across Accounting and Finance; identify opportunities to improve processes and collaboration.
• Contribute to standardisation and continuous improvement across Accounting & Taxation.
