Job summary

Pandora invites an experienced Domain Architect to shape our retail and e-commerce technology strategy from our Copenhagen hub. You will lead cross-functional teams, define architectural direction, and ensure scalable, secure solutions across platforms.

We seek 5+ years in scalable retail/e-commerce architectures, strong leadership, and fluency in English. This role is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, at Pandora’s Digital & Technology hub.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing scalable retail and e-commerce systems.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams of 5-10.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and cloud-based solutions like Azure.
• Familiarity with Order Management Systems and retail POS platforms.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Planning & Governance: Collaborate with the Engineering Director to develop and implement a detailed architectural strategy.
• Architectural Planning & Governance: Ensure alignment between architecture planning and business goals across product lines.
• Architectural Planning & Governance: Lead architectural governance processes and facilitate effective decision-making.
• Leadership Of Architecture & Engineering Teams: Directly manage Solution and Technical Architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Leadership Of Architecture & Engineering Teams: Mentor team members to promote professional growth and skill development.
• System Design & Implementation: Design end-to-end solutions for retail and e-commerce platforms.
• System Design & Implementation: Gather system requirements from stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
• System Design & Implementation: Evaluate and recommend technologies that enhance performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive implementation of architectural solutions.
