Job summary

Pandora is seeking a Director of Digital & Retail Tech Operations to lead a globally dispersed team based in Copenhagen, shaping the function’s strategic roadmap. You will oversee operational health for Pandora’s stores and websites and drive a DevOps by design culture across teams and vendors.

You will champion observable, reliable technology, manage incidents, and partner with Cybersecurity to ensure compliant, secure experiences for a global customer base.

Qualifications

• Typically, 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong people leadership and experience leading dispersed teams.
• Experience in technology operations, operational excellence, incident management or related fields.
• Knowledge of DevOps and ITIL practices.
• Experience with observability and DevOps tools.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to link decisions to business impact.
• Understanding of operational risk and cybersecurity collaboration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• High learning agility and an improvement-focused mindset.
• Lean Six Sigma or similar qualification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the seamless operation of technology across Pandora's digital and retail channels.
• Monitor real-time health and performance of products and services using data to identify trends.
• Strengthen incident management and reduce time to detect, contain and resolve incidents.
• Embed operational excellence through DevOps and ITIL-based practices.
• Anticipate operational risks and implement preventive measures.
• Increase the use of synthetic monitoring across eligible products.
• Build stronger relationships between Cybersecurity and Operations.
• Facilitate risk management across Digital & Retail Tech services and products.
• Partner with Cybersecurity to support channel compliance, including PCI requirements.
• Lead, develop and engage a geographically dispersed team with strong direction.
• Manage operational costs and contribute to CAPEX/OPEX decisions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Global Retail and E-commerce Core Technology and external vendors.
