Job summary

Novo Nordisk Engineering seeks a Senior Process Automation Engineer in DCS to join our Denmark-based Process Automation team. The role focuses on advising customers, designing and commissioning DCS solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across MES, historians, and production equipment.

With 6+ years in automation and 4+ years in PCS/DCS application development, you will contribute to data-driven, scalable projects and work on-site in Virum, five days a week, with limited remote

Qualifications

• 6+ years of working experience in automation engineering or a closely related field.
• 4+ years of working experience with PCS/DCS application development (ABB 800xA or ABB SattLine).
• Knowledge of batch production is valued in GMP/GAMP environments.
• Excitement for working in GMP/GAMP compliant projects and complex integrations.

Responsibilities

• Advising customers on their process solutions and applications for DCS.
• Design, development, programming, commissioning, qualification, FAT/SAT/UAT and handover of DCS applications.
• Collaborating with process experts and equipment teams including MES, Historian, instruments and production equipment.
• Developing and optimizing automation strategies and architectures meeting customer needs.
• Supporting international sister departments to expand NNE’s Process Automation engagement.
