Job summary

Novo Nordisk Engineering (NNE) seeks a Senior Manager to lead the DCS department, guiding 15–25 automation engineers across Denmark and India and shaping strategic direction. You will build strong partnerships with stakeholders and drive the adoption of emerging technologies to support API pharma engineering.

The role focuses on strategic initiatives, digital transformation, and delivering key business objectives, with on-site leadership in Virum, Denmark.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing managers and multidisciplinary teams.
• 5+ years in pharma/biotech or life sciences with complex engineering projects.
• Deep expertise in pharma automation technologies (DCS, PLC, IT/OT).

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage a 15–25 person automation team delivering services to pharma API production.
• Drive competence development and cross-site collaboration with Denmark and India.
• Lead strategic initiatives focused on new ways of working and digital transformation.
